I've spent 25+ years leading sales teams at Cisco, Splunk, Cloudflare, TELUS, and Contentsquare—generating over $2 billion in revenue and developing more than 100 professionals to President's Club recognition.

The methodologies and systems I built at these world-class organizations work across industries. Today, I help CEOs of $10M-$100M companies build the sales leadership and infrastructure they need to scale—whether in technology, energy, manufacturing, or professional services.

My career has taken me from individual contributor to VP-level leadership at some of the world's most respected technology companies:

Cisco — Where I learned enterprise sales discipline and earned Sales Leader of the Year. The only leader to have my entire team achieve President's Club.

Splunk — 156% average year-over-year growth across three consecutive years. President's Club twice as VP.

Cloudflare — Built and led teams during hypergrowth.

Contentsquare — International expansion and market development.

Each role reinforced the same lesson: sustainable sales success comes from systems, not heroics.

My Approach

My goal with every engagement is to build systems that make my role unnecessary.

I'm not interested in creating dependency. I want to build infrastructure, develop your people, and establish processes that continue working long after I'm gone.

That's why I focus on fundamentals: pipeline discipline, forecasting rigor, account planning, and coaching frameworks that compound over time.

Beyond the Resume

Before business, I was a competitive athlete—running with the Canadian national track team and competing in FIS ski racing. That background shaped my approach to performance: disciplined preparation, mental toughness, and the understanding that sustained excellence requires both individual talent and team systems.

Today, I bring that same intensity to my fitness, skiing, my terrible golf game, and mentoring the next generation of sales leaders.

Life Outside the Boardroom

I built my career so I could build a life. These days that means Big White ski days with my wife Emily, our two daughters, son-in-law, and three dogs who definitely think they're in charge. Emily is also my business partner — she keeps ScaleTech CRO running behind the scenes while I focus on clients.

We chose Kelowna for a reason. If you're ever in the Okanagan, the coffee's on me.
